Coombe Farm Cottages, Trewen, Launceston, Cornwall, PL15 8QF (01566 880124)

Coombe Farm is located just off the A30, near Bodmin Moor, with Boscastle and Tintagel the nearest points on the North Cornwall Coast. Within a 30 minute drive are the North Cornish coastal surfing beaches of Crackington Haven, Bude and Polzeath.

Route

It is recommended that you follow a route on the M5 to Exeter, and then onto the A30 towards Launceston and Bodmin.

  • Approximately three miles after passing the Launceston exit, take the Kennards House exit off the A30 for North Cornwall onto the A395. Continue along the A395 for approximately five miles.
  • As you enter the village of Pipers Pool, slow down. Take the second left-hand turn signposted to Trethinna and Trewen. Continue up and down the hill for about half a mile. You will see the church down the hill in front of you.
  • Pause here and you will see a small church car park, and right-hand turn, nearly back on yourself – turn down this narrow lane. Follow this lane for about a quarter of a mile passing two or three houses on the way. You will then come down to the approach to Coombe Farm. Carry straight on past the large barn on your left as you enter the driveway of Coombe Farm Cottages.

Car Parking

As you come down into the courtyard please stop outside your cottage to unload.

Morvoren Cottage is on the driveway. You can stop near the cottage to unload, pull over just before the cottage onto the path that leads down to the Stables. Please do not park on the grass to the right of the cottage as the ground is very soft. Godrevy Barn is the two-storey barn on your left. Siblyback Cottage is straight in front of you. Dozmary Cottage is in the righthand corner next to the Farmhouse.

Once you have unloaded, please drive your car(s) through the farm gate and down into the car parking area. There are visitor spaces also if required.

We do ask that you please use the car park area during your stay so that the courtyard is a safe place for children and animals to roam free.
