Local Newspaper Shop
- Tesco (24 hours with a petrol station). Take the second exit off the A30 (Launceston / Callington), and turn left, Tesco is on the left.
- 3 Cows on’t Green – Village Shop in Polyphant –open 8am – 8pm PL15 7PS – 01566 86029
- Moorview Garage – closed Sundays. Turn left onto the A395. PL15 8PL This is also the closest petrol station to the house (but it is quite pricey!).
- Altarnun Village Shop & Post Office – open until 1pm daily and 11am on Sundays. PL15 7RL – 01566 86400
- Tresmeer Village Shop – open weekdays until 3pm. PL15 8QT – 01566 781819
Local Shopping
The nearest shops are in Launceston (about a ten minute drive), which has a good selection of small stores. There are excellent bakers (Malcolm Barnecutts) and local butchers (Philip Warren). Take the first exit off the A30 and follow signs to the town centre. There are a various car parks around the centre.
Nearest Cash Point
Cash can be withdrawn at Tesco, banks in Launceston town centre or Altarnun Village Shop. There is a pay to withdraw cashpoint at the Spar on the A30.
